TCM properties


TCM creates default paths in order that it can be used straight away. However, if you want to alter an of the paths you can do so from the 'File' menu or by clicking on 'Properties' associated with each of the installed pending trays or the filing or Archive folders.From the 'File' menu choose the 'paths (Setup)' option


Setup tabs


User: Show's User's details. Name of user logged in and also the User's country and local telephone numbers.

Status Bar: Show or Hide the status bar. Also set up the world times that you wish to be displayed on the Status Bar.

Paths: This tab shows where the filing system, pending trays and daily archive paths are set. You can also set new paths for the above items from here.


Diary: Set the preferences for the diary here. Working day start and finish times , and also set the intervals for the diary entries.


Preferences: Sets the folder appearance and folder padding options for the filing tree.

Folder padding

The padding option shown above sets the layout for the folder reference number in the filing tree. In the example above you can see that by choosing 4 digits a leading zero gets added to the folder reference number.

System paths: Use this tab to view the paths to the various folders within TCM. The system paths are preset at installation.
